The Jewish Calendar
English does not have to stay in the classroom. It should become part of the students everyday life. To achieve this goal it is important to relate to the Jewish calendar in the lessons. This may help learners feel that English is not only a school subject, but rather a means to relate to their experiences as observant Jews.
