The Achievement Tests for grades 4th-6th were developed for the Charedi District. They assess language skills that need to be taught in each grade level. These include letter-sound knowledge, recognizing letter combination, grade-level vocabulary, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and writing. Each test is accompanied by mapping sheets. Mapping the tests should help you draw conclusions and allow you to make intervention plans based on the results of the tests.
Additionally, teachers can use parts of the the Meitzav exams for 5th and 8th grade for ongoing assessment throughout the year.
